Thanks! Generally most map quizzes grant the region to Russia. This decision was of course made years before the start of war and the annexations of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson Oblasts are thus not considered.

Regardless, QM has stated that users are free to decide whether to grant the region to either Ukraine or Russia. And since I personally maintain strict neutrality for my quizzes, I follow JetPunk's standards for quizzes like this and will retain the status quo ante bellum for now.
