Countries that invaded China

Name the countries and empires that invaded China or any of its dynasties starting with Tang.

Notes:
1. Invading parts of China is enough. Invading the whole of China would make a pretty short list.
2. The Hint is just a hint, not a detailed account of all invasions with exact dates.
3. Combining different names of countries. E.g. France includes the French Empire and the French Republic. You get the picture.
4. If you're thinking of Macau, the case is pretty much merchant settlers and a lease.
