Everything's finally updated to the latest season. Hopefully everything is working as intended as I did it all in one sitting. You will let me know etc.
There are some inconsistencies with names, esp. when names of cities or names of clubs are accepted. Also sometimes suffixes are needed for the city name: Chemnitz/er, Karlsruhe/r, Halle/scher, Cremona/ese, Wolfsberg/er.
Sometimes, the english names is used, sometimes not, i.e.: Cologne for 1. FC Köln, but Köln for Viktoria. Brügge instead of Bruges, Nürnberg instead of Nuremberg, Hannover for Hanover.
Further: Fürth should be accepted for Greuther Fürth, Kiel for Holstein Kiel, Victoria Köln is ViKtoria Köln, Hertha BSC should be accepted.
Good quiz. Probably still needs more time. It takes a long time to think of and type all the teams especially as you are asking for so many leagues. Chances are at least a few of the national leagues won’t be that familiar to people.
Can you accept “Spurs” as type in?
Also I think there is an issue with St Etienne. I checked my spelling on Google but it still wasn’t taking.
As a Valencia fan I'm loving that they have been guessed so much. Right near the top, and above Barca and Real Madrid. Great quiz. I managed to get 217. So many more that I knew but drew a blank on in the moment. I'll be back to try again another day(or night probably). Sometime I would type out the whole name, like Borussia Monchengladbach, or Real Betis, and it would not work, but the shorter name would work. Maybe if you could work on some more typos, that would be good.
Only issues I noticed were: I don't think any form of FC Lorient works? I tried it with fc at the front and end, and spelled Loreint, but nothing worked. And B. Monchengladbach is in the wrong place alphabetically, as it's actually still Borussia when you shorten it. Great quiz though! (And maybe there's a better way to display them? Like show Premier League once, then all of the teams underneath that, so that the name of each league isn't written over and over. Just a thought.)
Great quiz. I know that it's a lot of type-ins to check, so I'd just like you to check a few. For some reason, I typed in "Che" for Chelsea, and Valencia was accepted, and "Ars" for Arsenal was accepted for QPR. Similarly, "Werder Brem" was accepted for Mouscron.
Great quiz! I can't imagine how long this must have taken.
Two things:
1) I think the time limit is solid if you are confident with your knowledge but if you're someone who wants to be able to sit and think about it, it's not enough time. If this is a personal choice, that's perfectly fine.
2) I think 'Grasshoppers' is actually just 'Grasshopper', that's how it's listed on the swiss table anyways.
Love the update for the new year. Only issue I ran into was no variation of "Saint Gilloise" "Union Gilloise" "Gilloise" etc was accepted. It was the only one I didn't get because of that. I've never heard of the club referred to as Royale Union and FotMob just refers to the club as Union St. Gilloise
Yea, that's a source thing (flashscore). There were two variations available: "Royale Union" and "Union Saint Gilloise", but I have added more in a few seconds from this message.
Pacos didn't work, Pacos de Ferreira didn't work so I gave up. It turned out you only accept Pacos Ferreira. Also wonder why you have to type the full name of Arminia Bielefeld. The other Arminias are pretty much amateur teams.
Love the quiz, I keep coming back to it time and time again! Have you considered adding Conference League to it? It would be filled in by a fair amount of these league teams and give more smaller league teams that would need to be guessed!
Thanks again. Yes, I have considered it, but it would make the quiz very bulky. So far, I have decided against adding conference. Were it to rally up support, I could add it in the future.
Love this quiz, can't wait for the update of the European competitions! Personnaly, I think including the Conference League is necessary to make it a complete quiz on European football. Some teams might be challenging, but that makes it a bit more fun. 5 added minutes should be plenty I think.
love this quiz and the conference league update - one issue, for some reason Bayer Leverkusen doesn't auto fill in the Europa League section when you type Leverkusen but it does come up for the Bundesliga
Bari doesn't make Bari appear. Gave up after 2min because there are almost certainly more issues.
Deportivo is accepted, however, "Deportio" is not.

I think that the first two level of the tournaments are enough. there are some spelling that don't work.. for example Bruges or Karlsruhe.
I also wrote Leipzig and it appears in Bundesliga but not in the Champions League.
I think we need more time and a clearer visualization.
But Karlsruhe and Karslruher SC were both not accepted for Karslruher SC, please change that. :)

Yet... Worry not, my dear! I'll add a type-in. For next year, I might have to change the source.
