I wonder if visitors to Iguassu Falls count as visitors "from" Argentina? If so, that would inflate the Argentina numbers, since tourists visiting the falls generally also cross to the Brazilian side.
I don't think so. The brazilian/french border is mostly rainforest. There is, of course, the ocasional city like Saint George's and Oiapoque. But neither Amapá (the brazilian state at said frontier) or the French Guyana are known by their large populations...
Bolivia 2nd least guessed (I know 85% is still very high) to me shows it's one of the least remembered South Americans - It was my second guess since it's right next door!
Usually “exame” has meaning of a final test/exam (although the word “prova” is more used), or even a physical examination. In this context you can say the words “teste” (test) or “quiz”.

and the last part of that mentions permanent residence, so theoretically those visitors you mention shouldn't count.
