This reminds me of when I used to do these in 3rd grade. It was a timed test, and if you finished a whole sheet of simple division problems in the allotted time, you didn't have to take it again. But if you didn't finish them all, you had to take it again the next day. It was a great way for us to learn division.

The divisions are not hard, some people are just able to do them faster than others. And in the case of this quiz two more things are a factor, timestress, which can make you perform horrible (untimed, people are usually a lot fast than timed, if even there is not case of extreme panic or black out). And typing, if you can type blind you can answer these as fast as you can think of them, but if you have to keep looking down it takes a lot more time.

Btw I think the average score shown here is lower than it might be in reality, if there are others like me that didn't realize it was a sudden death haha

I don’t think that is what the results say. Seems like about 95% get the first question, and then only 50% make it past question 10. Then small percentages of people make a mistake or run out of time at each score, leaving 5% who get 100%.

The questions are shuffled each time the quiz is taken but the statistics are for each time that question is asked, regardless of its position in the quiz.

How are you guys (commenting) so fast?! I don't think I'm ever getting past 40/50. So far 33 is my best. And I'm quite good at division and times tables generally.

When I see 'divided by 1' that often throws me for half a second!
