Like the French version, this quiz is really interesting, and give us an amazing replayability. Excellent! Nominated, of course.

Is it possible to see the answers when the quiz is done? Only way to learn is to see where you went wrong. Thanks.

If you mouse over the ones you didn't get on the map the name will show up on the lower left side below the map.

if you tap on the spot, it zooms in/out and shows the answer in bottom left. Or just google the answers you missed

I kept trying Lake Taupo, Rotorua, Mt Tongariro, etc until I realised you just wanted North Island! Enjoyable quiz thanks, pretty hard!

The Great Dividing Range is shown, not the Australian Alps (which is only a small part of the GDR)

Set the class on your dots to "zoomable-circle" so that they don't get huge when you zoom in on them.

Great quiz! A little confusing that you sometimes need "Lake" (Lake Okeechobee, Great Slave Lake), and sometimes don't (Great Bear Lake, Lake Titicaca).

same thing with archipelago - Arctic doesn't require it, but Finnish does.

First of all: brilliant quiz!

Regarding the topic of this string:

- Could 'Boden' be accepted instead of 'Bodensee' for 'lake Constance' and;

- Could 'Solomon' be accepted instead of 'Solomon islands'?

Mar is accepted for Serra do mar but not Nevada for Sierra Nevada or madre for Sierra Madre. I would suggest requiring the full name as mar is the beginning of both Marajo and Mariana.

Great quiz, thanks. Learned several things new to me.

Thank you for your comment. It depends which acceptance you retain, for this quiz I followed the french wikipedia page. Whatever, I don't think that prevents to find the answer

I'm not sure if there's a great way to remedy this, but it's sometimes hard to tell what kind of feature you're looking for. But other than that, what a great quiz! Such fun.

The St Lawrence river is particularly difficult to spot.

Maybe a “show missing” button?

Never mind. Didn't realize this was actually randomized, that might be a good thing to advertise.

Amusingly, it happened again (with Vancouver this time).

I'd like to suggest a few more translation typ-ins, Acores (Açores) for Azores, Canarias for Canary Islands/Canaries, Heilongjiang for Amur, and also ideally anything shorter than Great Dividing Range. (Great Dividing, maybe?)

Also if/when you add or change some answers, I'd like to put in a recommendation for the Limpopo River, the Dniester River, St Helena island, Prince Edward Island, Salsette island, and Sjaelland/Zealand island. Lakes are pretty difficult to recommend anything less famous unless you are from the area, and you have most of the good archipelago/island chains already, so I won't recommend any of those.

In a quiz about physical geography, so of course without cities among the possible answers, I do'nt think that's such a problem.

The Amazon River is definitely one of the possibilities. I've gotten it at least 2 or 3 times...
