Tried Ashanti for the Ghanaian people but discovered that they are a subgroup of the right answer. Got the rest.

Best quiz in the series.

Only tweak I’d make is Ascension Island. Perhaps “British Overseas Territory, 1,500km west of the African mainland” might be better?

I worked on the RMS St Helena, and was lucky enough to visit all three islands. It’s nowhere near St Helena, which was two and a half days away to the south east at full steaming speed (1,300 km).

As for Tristan… It’s the remotest inhabited island I’ve ever visited, about half way to Antarctica from Ascension Island (3,700 km). There were only about 300 people living there in 2001…
