ATL is my least favorite airport. Last time I had a layover, they announced a delay because "the door fell off the plane." I don't want them to lie but they could have done a better job not freaking out passengers.
Like what? I guess I can understand why you might say that for the name of the river and perhaps a couple other proper names, but I don't feel there are many unusual words on this quiz.
I think they mean unfamiliar names. There are some that British people would have to be very aware of American culture to get - but that's the joy of this website! I got 6 right on my first try, but still scored 0!
I've lived in the Atlanta metro area for nearly 20 years and I've heard it many a time. Plus, if you look at the city from a high place the reason for the nickname is obvious.
The Buckhead one feels a bit misleading. The movement to secede is hardly active. I would never have thought of Buckhead as very wealthy by means of Druid Hills or Chastain, but I guess it is.
sometimes when I take a quiz I'll type in an answer just to see if it is correct without reading any of the clues. Definitely got that second to last one in the blind. The pride of Lancaster, OH
