I read the title. And then promptly forgot that all of the answers had to be 4-letters long before I finished reading the first question.

I was about to write the same thing. Xi'an is a well known Chinese city. I wonder why it is not here...

It was used on Quiz #1 (this is quiz #2) so presumably it was to avoid duplication.

Good idea - I was surprised there was no X. Plenty of 4-letter words. And *anything* can be defended as being human geography...

Quad is the outlier here. It's too vague. Everything else is a proper noun. Maybe if it referred to a specific quad it would belong better.

Yet the government is seated there, so while it has no official capital, it certainly does have a de facto one.

But a de facto capital is still not a capital.

The Roma are a nomadic people who left Iran ages ago and their descendants live in Europe and Asia. Sadly they were a main target of the Nazis and many were killed.

Arabs are not the most common ethnic group in North Africa... it is widely accepted among historians that the Arabs conquered, spread Islam then left. Most didn't settle there, and those who did were not enough to outnumber the local indigenous Berber (Amazigh) population. To this day, culture, language, culinary traditions, music etc has remained distinctly Amazigh in most of North Africa... I think you should put a different clue.
