So sad that a Honduran city became a "murder capital." In the 70s I actually camped out in the interior. The people were so friendly and welcoming. One evening, when we realized that we were heading down a steep hill in Tegucigalpa, going the WRONG WAY, the pedestrians that saw us ran down the hill and stopped traffic for us. The interior of the country is quite beautiful. We saw far more people on horseback than in cars. Thanks for the quiz and a chance to remember.
One of the kids I worked with while I was an ESOL teacher in Virginia was a boy from Honduras. He knew how to ride a horse, but he had never in his life held a pencil.
I tried just it because I'm used to the name of the nation. According to Wikipedia "Miskitu" is actually "more correct", but that's not accepted either. :(
Disappointed because I missed Lempira when I literally have a Lempira in my wallet for fun (in addition to my 500 South Sudanese Pounds). I believe it was worth 5 cents back when I first got it a few years ago, now it's probably even less
Took a few tries to get this quiz.
