Sanskrit is not a living language. Where the heck did you even find that stat? That's like saying there are thousands of people today who speak Latin. Yes, there are people today who know and "speak" Latin but it's not a living language in the sense of "do people use it at homes to communicate".

Inclusion of English is also very weird, there are about a dozen other languages native to India that have millions of speakers, but you chose to include English for some reason.
