Also, can "Victorian" really be described as an architectural style? To be fair I don't know what else you would apply to that house there. But periods and styles are different things, I'd have thought: Standen is Victorian, but its architectural style is Arts & Crafts.
I’m not sure in Europe the images for Victorian or Bauhaus would have been recognised as typical of these descriptors…but accept they may well be in North America. It’s tricky because the American Victorian domestic architecture that bas survived is very different to say British styles of that era (typically terraces or big semi detached villas). To me the image used looks like Arts and Crafts.
I had assumed Bauhaus architecture would have been designed by members of the Bauhaus, not just in keeping with their design principles at a later date.
