Modern Country by Empire

Cool quiz! I spent my first try trying to guess every possible name for the United Kingdom for British Empire (like Britain, UK, England, etc.) then read not including home country xD

Restarted quiz after that

Italy should be accepted for Roman Empire because Italy is Rome

Of course for the French Empire I guessed Chad.

Why isn't Saudi Arabia accepted, The Umayyad Caliphate was from Syria...Whoops, I'm thinking of the Rashidun and Abbasid Caliphates.
