Madagascar's southernmost point is Cape Vohimena at 23°26'21"S, while Mozambique's southernmost point is the coastal border with South Africa near Zitundo, located at 26°52'S.
yes ,but it is commonly used for taiwan to discern between two chinas, I agree that it should be used more commonly seeing as it now goes by Taiwan rather than ROC and there isn't some other name for the two congos.
ROC is also the Russian Olympic Committee. The Olympics were rather confusing this year. 'Congo- I mean Taiwan- Uh wait, Russian Olympic Committee is in 4th!'
Didn't even bother to type in Congo because Chile was such an obvious answer for C and it left me completely confused when I got down to just D and R. I'm pretty sure I tried Rwanda at least 10 times.
the uk owns the falkland islands, it should be there instead of uruguay. but if you only consider the mainland for all of the countries then you should make that clear :C
No you shouldn't, just because it's a territory of something doesn't mean it will count on this qui site, I can understand if you're new, but you're level 62 already and should realize at this point that territories don't count
eSwatini has been an official name change, like Burma to Myanmar, though I agree people still call it Swaziland so it would make sense to highlight it.
With the caveat and hint, many probably enter the the "D" answer as DRC. Then, they either don't get to R, or forget about the "other Congo," or try incorrect responses.
might be just me who's too jetpunk-pilled but putting the R and D in red made me more confused since usually red countries are partially recognized countries or territories and both congos are usually left normal 😭
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_southernmost_point
Mozambique: 13th southernmost country in the world (26°52'S)
Madagascar: 14th southernmost country in the world (25°37'S)
If 'Republic' include the country name,
then,'Republic of Chile' is the southernmost country beginning with 'R'.
