Nice quiz, nominated. It reminds me of the 3-month road trip I once did from the Alaska border to Cape Breton (I was planning to do Newfoundland as well, but when I went onto PEI for a couple of days I fell in love with it and stayed there two weeks!). Also accept Sydney for Cape Breton?

Merged towns and regional consolidation make some the city/town names confusing. As Jerry mentions -- Cape Breton is actually Sydney plus surrounding villages and towns. In Ontario, Kawartha Lakes is actually Lindsay plus surrounding villages and rural areas. Clarington is Bowmanville plus surrounding villages and some Oshawa suburbs. Haldimand Norfolk is actually two townships merged and given the status of a town. Gatineau across the river from Ottawa is mostly the city of Hull plus the surrounding countryside. Considering accepting the names of the population centres as well as the official names.
