Wrong, quizzes with over 100 answers can't be NOMINATED if the quiz was made after late 2022, as this quiz was made before then, it is possible to be nominated.
Even if it wouldn't be possible to be nominated the Quizmaster could still manually feature a quiz he would like.
Cotonou is the seat of government, but it isn't an official capital. The Hague is in a similar position, so why hasn't the Netherlands been given the same treatment? Their Wikipedia page even said, "The Hague has been described as the country's de facto capital".
What about the capital of Sri Lanka? SJK is the legislative capital, while Colombo is the executive, judicial, and commercial capital. Same position as Cotonou, what makes it so unique?
Some countries have more than one official capital, yet only one is considered. For example, Lobamba serves as the legislative capital, traditional capital, spiritual capital, and the seat of government of the Parliament of Eswatini. Mbabane, the capital we're all familiar with on Jetpunk, is just the executive capital and largest city.
On this occasion I started with Oceania, counting 14 countries and 14 capitals. It was the only way I knew I had them all, as I struggle to recall capital and country all of the time in Oceania.
Then North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia.
Some of the type-ins mess you up when you are typing quickly without looking.
It is an epic piece of work just to do the quiz. Setting it must have been a monumental task.
Word association I came up with.. St. luCia & Castries have C, rose-O dome (Roseau, Dominica), St. George's and Grenada both have G. The bridge (Bridgetown) will take you to see the king (Kingstown). Spain and France are neighbors, so the Port of Spain is closer to the French Guiana. Basseterre and St. Johns, I couldn't come up with anything, I just had to remember them.
I am curious if people go through the map twice for countries and capitals or if they pair them immediately. I did the second method and it took me close to 20 minutes. I wonder if the separate method goes faster because then you can follow your standard routine.
I did all countries and then capitals, it felt faster to me that way, but I did spend a min or 2 searching for East Timor at the end since I forgot to type it.
also why does jetpunk remove one T for Nouakchott for type ins? and why does jetpunk accept "Ouaga" for Ouagadougou and "Addis" for Addis Ababa? it messes me up every time
Cotonou should be removed. If not, then add The Hague for Netherlands, Colombo for Sri Lanka, and Lobamba for Eswatini since they all have the same case.
Thanks for the quiz!
Kazakhstan changed its capital back to Astana though, and I think "Phnom Pen" and "Talin" are widely accepted on other quizzes

Not sure if Cotonou should be included? makes it Very tricky

Oceania is always the toughest for me and if I miss one it is that or Funafuti or Palikir.

Well done Vicky.
Having to put in every capital for every country makes it even a little bit harder than the World Capitals quiz
Still a great quiz, the perfect quiz for me to remember all the terms
