This is EXACTLY how I filled it out. Though it has always driven me crazy that they mispronounced Pierre. (The capital of South Dakota is pronounced "pier", to rhyme with "fear".)
Got 99/100, but it's hate week so I couldn't type the city that contains that awful school. I'll have to retake it next week to get the full 100. Us college football fans are weird!
Got to 99 with 20 minutes left. Glad to know my mental block was the least guessed answer. All hail the capital of New Hampshire, our least memorable one.
I learned all this 3 years ago, and haven't touched it since. Decided to try it again now for fun because I just learned all the countries and I've been trying to find another challenge, but I learned it all again in like 15 minutes and got 100/100. Next, I'm going continent by continent to learn all 196 capitals of each country. Wish me luck :)
I'm amazed at the percentages of correct answers. I guess most people who took this quiz are American because even with fairly decent geography knowledge many of the state capitals were super difficult to guess as a European.
to Massachusetts Boston, and Albany, New York!"
You've got Richmond in Virginia, South Dakota has Pierre"
And here is Providence, Rhode Island, next to Dover, Delaware"
Hartford's in Connecticut, so pretty in the fall, and Kansas has Topeka, Minnesota has St. Paul."
And it's Raleigh out in North Carolina and then,"
Jackson, Mississippi and Springfield, Illinois,"
So close.
