Can you explain the answer for the Robert sweet question? I answered 6. 5 friends would receive 6 sweets, leaving 7 sweets for Robert.

Each friend has to have the same number of sweets. Let the number of sweets one friend gets be x. So the total number of sweets the 5 friends gets is 5x. Let the number of sweets Robert gets be y. Robert has to have more sweets than one friend so y has to be greater than x. Then you have to guess the maximum number of sweets one friend gets whilst satisfying the inequality. The answer being Robert gets 7 and each friend gets 6, as 5 times 6 add 7 is equal to 37.
