This quiz is hilarious. I was already aware that there were quite a number of places whose promoters claimed for them the title "The Venice of the North" but never imagined that there were 39 of them. Some are quite small with the most tenuous of claims to the title. For example, I have been to Svolvaer and spent a couple of nights there. It is a lovely setting but I don't recall seeing a single canal there.
