Useless information, though someone might find it interesting. In the time it took me to do another quiz (misspelled or not, which took 1 min plus say another min to look at stats and comments), this quiz was taken 5 times.
I had deliberately checked the amount of takes and was curious it would have gone up in the time I did another quiz. So it did :).
Makes the site feel more live/real time seeing that people took the quiz as you speak. While often it is more about people (including me) replying to 4 year old comments (and getting a reply back from the original commenter 2 years later again haha)
Nice selection, had never heard of HSBC, hollister or hanes, nor seen their logos. Same goes for hertz but managed to guess it (after trying heinz first). Also didn't get hilton, ofcourse I recognise the name but the logo doesn't mean anythimg to me. Managed to get the rest, so got 4 wrong
I think you should be a lot more forgiving about the spelling of Haagen Dazs. I tried Hagan Daz, Haagan Daz, Hagaan Daz, Hagen Daz, and Haagen Daz before I just looked up the spelling.
"The "Häagen-Dazs" name was invented by Mattus since it was "Danish-sounding". He used it as a tribute to Denmark's good treatment of Jews during World War II. An outline of Denmark was also used on their early labels. The name is not Danish." (wiki)
Certainly not as difficult a spelling issue as Haagen Dazs but felt like the quiz was gaslighting me when it wouldn't take "Hasboro", "Hazboro" or "Hassboro" before I gave up.
Not sure where you got that image, but that's not quite what the Hallmark logo looks like. Those little dots are separate from the body of the crown. Great quiz though, really nice to see someone take the time to collect a proper variety of brands.
Thanks for the heads up! My guess is the logo I picked was an old one. I changed it with a better one that not only has the dots separated from the crown, but also features the trademark purple color. Hope it is better now!
Can you please be a little more lenient on spelling for these? Especially the ones that aren't English derived names like Hagan Daz and Hundae (or however they are spelled).
