I agree that they are all better players in pure basketball terms, however I wanted to keep as few out of position players as possible. And also while some of the players are indeed great, I just see my choices as more rooted within the franchise, however I definitely see the argument for Shaq, it was probably the longest consideration I had when designing it. Similar with KD, although for him the fact that he played in a superteam kind of makes me look at it with some more bias. Melo was also a huge consideration, in the end DeBusschere's rings were the deciding factor.
