Can you name the countries of the world on November 11, 1444, the day King Władysław III died in the Battle of Varna, based on the video game "Europa Universalis 4"?

While not perfect, this is probably a very decent list. The makers of the game performed research and consulted historians.
(In the quiz statistics it says 0.1% have gotten 100%, and at the time of writing 5,852 people have taken it, leaving us with 5.852 people. I don’t think I was included in the numbers but luckily we can round up)
even though it won't make much of a difference, can you accept lenis lenape or lenis lenapi for lenape? We learned the tribe as lenis lenape at school.
I agree , started in North America and was doing well when some spellings of tribes were not accepted (Ojibwa etc ) so I got frustrated and gave up .needs to accept different spellings of some tribes . also some large tribes seem to be missing. On a lighter note thank U for U .who knew U.
The Kingdom of Rwanda goes back all the way to potenially the 10th to 11th century. It became far more centralzed in the 1400s or 1500s with a stronger central King. The Kingdom was at its height in the 18 century.
Also the Hutu and Tutsi weren't always considered separate "tribes". Before the Belgians came in they were different social classes of the same society. These class identities were often inherited but it wasn't a requirement; people could move from one class to the other as they gained or lost wealth and property.
There is a theory/hypothesis/something that the Tutsi were initially migrants and brought cattle herding with them, but I don't know how accepted that is. Nevertheless, for a good while they were social classes rather than ethnicities.
China was a bunch of dynasties through most of history, like the Qing, Han, Ming, and Song dynasties, but “China” is still accepted…it was in the Ming dynasty at that time.
Interesting, and it reminds me of playing Medieval: Total War games, which teach you a great deal about the old territories. Way too many groups to be beneficial, though. The modern nation states make more sense.
69 first time, nice. I got 4/5 points which was a pretty big surprise, I think my research into the Timurids and general knowledge of indian tribes as an American really helped. The rarest thing I got was Powhatan at 5%, think me being Virginian probably helped
Why is "Prome" (apart from a state in the Far East) also a type-in for the last remnants of the Byzantine Empire? Not as if I minded, I'm just curious to know. However I rack my brains (and Google), I can only remember the Byzantine Empire as the Eastern Roman Empire, which might make it E-Rome, not Prome.
(It took me a couple of games to find out why exactly I found Byzantium done after finishing Asia...)
OK, now I see that even if I type in just "Rome", it works. Now I understand. It's a bit weird, but fine. :) I'm leaving my comment here, for others to know as well.
Proud to get 12% in 30 minutes I guess. And like what happened to countries that will fight inn WWI and WWII? They are so many microstates its hard to believe they were united.
The problem with updating for 1.30 and 1.31 is that those two updates add so many "countries" that could barely be considered countries historically, especially 1.31 which added a lot of native tribes. As such I likely will never update for 1.31 in order to keep with this quiz being about countries of the world in 1444, not EU4 countries. If I did it would be a separate quiz.
Not challenging the quiz but moreso the game, but a bit strange that Madja-as (c. 1200 - 1569), Sultanate of Bone (14th century–1905), and Wajoq (c. 1400–1957) weren't included. Shouldn't they be in this timeframe?
124 in 30 minutes is the absolute best i can do screw the hre, and idk anything outside of europe and the muslim world expect for the east asian countries that still have the same names and the khmers. 5/5 great map
I know this quiz is based on the video game in the description, but I'm surprised that the Tu'i Tonga Empire isn't on here! It was a very powerful Pacific empire at its peak and lasted from the 900s well into the 1500s

The Rwanda is far old than the 1900s

I think you should cut the time limit down by like 10 minutes or so.
sooo easy
read all about it
(It took me a couple of games to find out why exactly I found Byzantium done after finishing Asia...)
great quiz though!
Comet sighted : -1 stability
Also the map is strange looking because the southern tip of south america is shrunk
