The Kings and Clippers have never won, so it's really just about beating out the Lakers and Warriors combined, but even that is impressive given the Lakers' long history of success. If you include the championships that the Lakers won before moving to LA, they are only one behind the Celtics all-time total, which means that adding the Warriors' championships (four, I think?) would put the California teams ahead. The Lakers moved to LA in the 1970's, after the Celtics had won most of their championships. Since the Lakers moved, they have plenty more than Boston has.
I have not expected that New England is the catholic hotspot of the USA. Should not highly correlate the percentage of hispanics and the percentage of catholics?!
I suspect you haven't been around too many New England cities if you don't think Irish, Italian, and/or Hispanic immigrants have had a formative role in urban demographics.
Well it is literally called New ENGLAND, but mostly it's because it was part of the original 13 colonies of the UK so it was more heavily influenced by that then states like California, which were part of the US later than states like New York. Idk about New Mexico though, probably something to do with the Spanish mission system?
That computer programmer wages one seemed especially obscure. Like I know enough about NBA titles to make a few educated guesses, but I do not have a good sense for the rank ordering of wages among states for arbitrary professions.
yes, if the Lakers were in Cali their entire franchise they would tie the Celtics, but since they were in Minnesota for a while, the titles they won there do not count for Cali
I was thinking the same. In any obesity country quiz, it's dominated by Pacific island nations. Then suddenly Hawaii is the least obese state in America? Strange.
Also strange is that when you move over to East Asia you suddenly find the least obese populations again. I guess there's a lot of biological/cultural differences there I'm just not privy to.

Native Hawaiians are probably more likely to be obese, but make up only about 11% of the population.
