Also Bacon and eggs is not really a specific breakfast in the UK. We have both of these for breakfast at cafes but usually it will be part of a Full English/Scottish or it will be with toast, in my opinion.
Last point, I don't think macaroni & cheese has much to do with Italy. It was first recorded in an English recipebook and uses a French sauce and has been co-opted by the USA. Same goes for spaghetti & meatballs!

Sure, bacon and eggs usually come with other things but they are still a classic combination. I’m from the UK btw.
Yes, I agree on the Italy thing. I just didn’t want to upset anyone by suggesting that macaroni or spaghetti were invented in America. If the combinations came from Italy I’d have just put Italy.
As a general note the quiz is inherently a bit loose as food combinations are plentiful and not contained by borders. But It’s just a bit of fun. There wasn’t supposed to be any time pressure so I’ve raised the time.
