That opening animation is beautiful!!! Nominated!

Also, how it even possible? I'm not asking you to spill all your secrets or planning on using it or anything like that, I'm just incredibly curious because I haven't seen anything like it on JetPunk before. I'd love to hear just the very basics of how it works if you don't mind sharing.

Thanks, glad you like it! It's all just CSS, no big secret :) Similar kind of thing to Stewart's Countries Loading quiz or Crem and IAB's spinning Earth quizzes. Loved those and started reading a bit about it, but I'm no expert. Lots of trial and error. Had to completely redo this one because it worked in all browsers except Safari... which is my new greatest enemy...!
