Great, little picture show! Brings back memories of my childhood. My two brothers and I would go to a model shop and be amazed at all these boxes of model aircraft. We all hated the Hellcat and Buffalo. Fat, ugly things we all thought. Same as the British Boomerang. Yuck! My father told us to pick a model one day and hurry up about it. I wanted a Liberator or a C47. We call them Dakotas around here. To cut a long story short, I grabbed a Focke-Wulf Fw 190. I think my older brother grabbed a Canberra and my younger brother a Fokker Dr.1.
