Alabama-Huntsville is a bit of an outlier here and had me confused, so I looked it up. Apparently the history of the program dates back to the influx of NASA engineers from all over the country, many of whom came from more northern parts of the country and continued to play hockey in Alabama.
Quiz needs to be updated. WCHA is now CCHA and includes St. Thomas, Alaska-Anchorage an UAH are currently not playing, and Long Island U and the University of Alaska are independent.
The points awarded should be updated. I scored 27/64, or 42%. However, the score report said "this beats or equals 75% of test takers. I still got zero points, unfortunately.
First answer: BC. Quiz took it. Thought, OK, abbreviations work. Next answer: BU - rejected. Mass - rejected. Conn - rejected. I'd actually be OK with all of those if BC had not been accepted.
Beginning in the 2021-22 season, the WCHA will be defunct and the new CCHA will contain these teams:
Bemidji State,
Bowling Green State,
Ferris State,
Lake Superior State,
Michigan Tech,
Minnesota State,
Northern Michigan,
St. Thomas.
Alaska and Alabama-Huntsville will be left out of the CCHA.
