Zemeckis actually wrote the Back to the Future films, he didn't direct them.

Zemeckis definitely directed Back to the Future. A simple IMDB search will tell you that. Also, where did you get these directors? Is this your own personal list? What about Kurosawa, Fellini, Ford, Bergman, Leone, Altman, or Lynch?
