Germany controlled the Philippines? The UK controlled Denmark? Where are you getting this information?

According to Wikipedia, "Iran was effectively divided between Britain and the Soviet Union for the duration of the global war". How did you decide that the correct answer was "UK" and not "USSR"?

Another disappointing quiz that is a total waste of time. Apart from the issues already identified, French Equatorial Africa was controlled by Free France in 1942 - it was in fact the first territory to declare for Free France, back in 1940
