Not that unexpected, since they are/were grandfanther, father and son and Kim is their surname equivalent. It would have been funny, if it wasn't for all the deaths, how they declared they would be making a communist utopia whete everyone is equal and yet ended up with basically monarchy.
The Ayatollah Khomeni didn't overthrow the Shah. He was in France while everyone else was overthrowing him. He went back to Iran after the dust had started to settle. Credit where credit's due.
Please accept Kreml and Kioto. For some non English speakers its hard to find exactly right word. I tried Kreml and Kremli, but not Kremlin. I also tried Kioto.
Huh that is cutting of an entire sylable that would be like asking "eiffel to" to be accepted for eiffel tower or "Grand can" for grand canyon. No unvoiced letters (like "notre dam(e)" or "great wal(l)" )
Not really. "Eiffel to" doesn't mean anything. "Kreml" is how it is spelled in russian and many other languages. I know this quiz is in english and all that jazz, and I too personaly don't agree with it being accepted. I'm just stating the fact, it's not the same as you are saying.
I actually was taken to see the boat when he got to Australia. It stank! I seemed huge (I was about 4) and there was seaweed hanging off it. But the smell.........
Ow! Wanted to type this clearly isnt my quiz, I missed so many, only got 13. Figured the average would be like 19. But it is 13! Should/could have gotten kremlin and krakatoa though and actually wrote khomein (without the last i) but that was only because I took a quiz with him yesterday, if you d ask me next week I wouldnt know anymore. I guess I suck less at "history" then I thought (but partly thanks to questions like jungle book and katana... so I would still not call myself good at history haha)
I tried writing "cataphract" with an initial K and using all variants I knew. Seeing the right answer for the armored medieval soldier was quite a blow.
