It would be nice to be able to scroll through them or click on them and see which dot is which afterwards too. Like on some of the mapquizzes here. Quizmaster?

If you hover your mouse over the dots you have answered during the quiz the city should appear in the bottom left hand corner below the map. And then when the quiz is over, you should be able to do this for all the answers

Great quiz!

Could even add Bratislava (capital city of Slovakia), and Bari in Italia?

It's a city near Manchester, I've only heard of it because of a football team (the Bolton Wanderers) that was pretty good back in the day.

Interesting. I only got 22. A few of them I was mad at myself for forgetting. But there were one or two I'd never heard of.

I would say much less than 10. I also got 26/30 by the way (missed Baltimore, Bergen, Belem and Barranquilla)

I agree, but the average person on the street isn't that bright. I mean look at our respective political leaders. Who would vote for them? 28/30. One Brazilian city and one Korean city evaded me. I say evaded, but what I mean is, I didn't know them!

I got 25. I think before coming to this site I had not heard of 2 maybe 3 of those. But some others I would have recognised but would be too unfamiliar with to think of on my own, like baltimore.

I think the ones I would not have gotten before I came to this site (which I did get now) would be Baku, Baltimore, Brazzaville, Bengaluru, Bloemfontein, and Belo Horizonte.

So besides that this site attracts people that already have an interest in geography and/or knowledge of it, the ones that stick around pick up more and more knowledge here too. I definitely know a lot more now than when I first came to this site. And albeit very slowly, still learning ever day ;) (still don't know all African capitals.. sigh or flags, maybe in 5 more years ;) )

Ps the ones I missed now where Busan, Bamako, Belem, Barranquilla and Bandung. (Was surprised so few people from this site got bloemfontein!)

Come on - a little bit of spelling leniency on Barranquilla, por favor? At least all 4 combinations of 1 and 2 r's and l's at a minimum.

The Mississippi effect. All the consonants are double, but you doubt it, so you end up trying something else. My misspelling is "Barranquila" even though it's not pronounced like that thanks to Guayaquil

Although that, no one calls BH of “Belo”. It’s Belo Horizonte or BH. So for me, it’s not necessary to accept Belo as type-in.
