Took me a while to get past Bratislava for Vienna. Whilst it is much closer than Budapest, it only has about 650,000 people. I thought for sure it'd have a million plus.

I unfortunately did not realize my mistake. I was puzzled when Giza, N'Djamena, Khartoum, Tripoli, Jerusalem, Istanbul all failed.

Quite the big city in South Africa. Many people heard of it when it hosted a stadium at the 2010 WC

G[palatal click]eberha what's the difficulty? At least it's phonetic and is definitely the upgrade from another boring port named after a random foreign person (looking at you Port Harcourt, Port Louis, Port Moresby, etc)

Super fun quiz, Port Elizabeth was the only one I was stuck on and then I guessed randomly until I got Capetown

I was sure Gqeberha was a Maltese name and tried Sicilian and Tunisian cities, while wondering how it could, even as an urban area, contain more than 1 million people with Malta's population being significantly lower than that.
