This is definitely doable within the time limit, but I kept missing two countries each time, and it was always two different countries, and they were always too small to find in the last few seconds I had left. So basically it took me two tries to get to 154 and eight or nine tries to get to 156.

I forgot Yugoslavia (and a few other Balkans), a couple West African, Lebanon, and El Salvador. El Salvador is something I always miss, because i go for North America USA, Mexico, DR, Nicaragua, Panama.

North America: Brazil, Peru, USA, Guatemala, DR, Costa Rica (as noted by others above in the comments, thank you)

Asia: China, India, Russia, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Saudi Arabia (why isn't this KSA yet?!), Uzbekistan, Syria, Iran

Europe: UK, Sweden, France, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Ukraine, Albania, Czechia

Africa: Malawi, Togo, South Africa, Cameroon, Congo, Egypt, Algeria, Senegal, Somalia, Liberia, Eritrea

In Asia, you can get both Indonesia and Brunei by typing Malaysia.
