For the Muslim cities, they are ordered based on their importance to the religion. For longest mountain ranges and rivers, they are ordered by length. I don't know why the countries starting with K are not in alphabetical order though.
If I had to guess maybe it's by size for K Asian countries. But he should change that to alphabetical organization. It's the only category that doesn't fit a meaningful organization. Maybe it was just a simple mistake
Please accept "appalachia". (I know it could be argued that without the "n" at the end, it's referring to the region and not the mountains. On the other hand... c'mon.) ;-)
It is a bit random which cities Jetpunk decides to call capitals. I can understand Strasbourg being one such, the European Parliament is officially based there apparently though it actually does almost all its work in Brussels. But for the EU, why Luxembourg? Why not Frankfurt in that case? For the Netherlands, why Amsterdam and not The Hague?
The EU has three official capitals, enshrined in the treaties, and which are correctly identified in this quiz. Those are Brussels (executive capital, as the Commission and the Council reside there), Strasbourg (legislative capital, as the European Parliament's seat is there), and Luxembourg (judicial capital, as the Euroean Court of Justice are seated there). They are neither the three biggest, nor the three most important cities, and I agree that Frankfurt could also be considered the financial capital of the EU, but it's not official. Many people just know of Brussels, but that's just one third of the answer!
it doesn't ask for 3 capitals in the EU it asks for the three capitals of the EU (although I'm not sure that the term capital is entirely correct) and yes St lucia is a country, same as st vincent and st kitts.
I had just answered the K countries question, got stuck on that, and desperately tried to find three Canadian territories that start with K. I might be partially at fault, here...
