Go for the drunk nations first like most of the european slavic countries, then the big countries with terrible infrastructure. There is no way in the world I would have predicted that the UAE has the world's worst drivers. They have so little road for carnage. Perhaps they don't Have driving lessons for the spoiled kids?
Interesting quiz. I got all the right hand countires (total deaths), but very few of the left side.
What does "Fatalities per 1 billion vehicles km" mean? I'm assuming it's basically fatalities per billion kilometers driven by all vehicles? Or is it something else like vehicles divided by all the roadway lengths?
Having driven, or at least been a passenger, in most of the above countries, and having driven in quite a few more, I am surprised by these results. I cannot fathom how, for example, the Dominican Republic does not make the list! Same goes for quite a few Arab countries, where it might appear to the visitor that all of the motorists are fourteen-year-old boys on meth.
