Very fun quiz! Maybe add NHL teams too? Also, it'd be great if some shorter versions of answers were accepted, e.g., Wall St., Citi, Chase, etc.

You spelled Financial Center wrong. And New York is not the largest city in the world.

But when it was the largest it passed London to achieve that status. So it's a fair, but not obvious, question.

You spelled original wrong too. And why isn't Metropolitan good enough for the Metropolitan Museum of Art?

La Guardia is NOT an international airport. It services domestic flights only. This answer should be removed.

I agree with the shorter forms.

Probably need to include new One WTC tower.

Also, Newark Liberty airport is located in NJ, not in NYC.

Should the question read, airports servicing NYC?

Yeah It seriously annoyed me that the WTC was not included in the tallest buildings. Overall the category for airports might could be changed as Newark is not technically in New York City but it is considered a NYC airport since it mainly serves traffic for NYC and is owned and operated by the Port Authority and La Guardia is not an international airport. I think the category should just be called "Major Airports"

Agree technically. But the "Major League Baseball" brand is really being pushed, s maybe just call them MLB teams?

Except for the typo Ludovico pointed out the previous year, and the issue mcf343 pointed out 5 months previous.

"Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard" was not enough? Also, I spelled VanCortlandt correctly several times, but it would not take it.

"neue" should be enough for the neue galerie. Also, AIG should be accepted for american international group.

Sorry but I've been an NYC tour guide for fourteen years and I have to make some points:

You didn't include the Frick Collection on Museum Mile.

You said largest TRADING companies in New York. This is misleading since Verizon and Pfizer aren't TRADING companies, they're TRADED companies.

4th, 7th, 9th and 10th Avenues are not "alternately known" as the names you put down, they eventually become those avenues.

This particular quiz will have to be continually updated due to our large number of new superscrapers being built all over town. The list as it stands is currently off - 3 World Trade has topped out and is now in the 5th tallest, knocking the New York Times building off this list of 6 tallest. It won't be on for long, as 111 W.57th (at 1428ft) and 30 Hudson Yards (at 1287) will knock 3 World Trade and the venerable Chrysler Building off the list, while moving into 3rd and 4th place - bumping the Empire State and Bank of America to 5th and 6th. When (and if - they've put a "pause" on construction) Central Park Tower tops out in the next year or so, at 1550, Bank of America will be off this list, and for the first time since 1931, the Empire State Building will NOT BE IN THE TOP 5 tallest buildings in NYC.

And I'm with NCsupercade - first of all, only tourists EVER refer to 6th Avenue as "Avenue of the Americas". 7th, 9th and 10th as stated become those streets on the Upper West Side.

Oh, and lest you think we're all too picky here in Nu Yawk, in case no one else has said so - this is a VERY GOOD QUIZ. Kudos to you. Because The City changes so much - and right now so quickly - unlike most quizzes this one will always need updating. You've taken on a bit of a chore! But thank you for your salute to a great city!

When you ask for the original name of a place, you should ACCEPT the original name. New York was originally Nieuw Amsterdam, not

New Amsterdam.

Good quiz but needs serious updating. Bill DeBlasio is mayor and will be leaving the job after two full terms shortly. The tallest building list is also significantly different now.

Fun quiz, but please add "NYCFC" (New York City Football Club) to the list of MLS clubs. Also, Mike Bloomberg hasn't been mayor for years, so it's time for some updates.

Can't give this any stars or nominations until "Fincical" is corrected to "Financial" (as pointed out 9 years ago) and "National League Baseball" is corrected to "Major League Baseball" (as pointed out 8 years ago).
