a few nits I've selected: the Wright Brothers conducted the first successful powered flight, but close enough; you don't accept Adams but you accept most of the others on last name alone; and finally, Apple definitely did not invent the smart phone. have a look, you have to get about 1/3 of the way down the page before there is even any mention of Apple. Apple never invented anything. Everything they ever did was a rip-off of someone else's technology, sometimes modestly improved upon (i.e. dumbed down) but also made with annoying Apple proprietary features whether the end user really wants them or not and then marked up 100-200%, and then sold on the back of ubiquitous and pretentious advertising. Smart phones were invented by IBM. Digital audio players were around for 21 years before the iPod. Apple's OS was ripped off from Xerox. and the design of the iMac was apparently copied from Fischer Price.
Maybe you could change the clue to "Company believed by it's sycophantic fans to have invented the smart phone (and the portable music player, and Windows, and computers, and sliced bread, and maybe even the wheel)."
oh, and the personal computer was first made by an Italian company Olivetti and launched in 1964, in spite of the movie Jobs making it seem like Apple invented those, as well, ten years later.
