Great quiz! Don't know where you get the data but what about making other quizzes eg countries that import 90% or more of their imports from a single country and things like that?
I have this quiz which is kind of what you want. You have to list the biggest import parter for every country. (Don't worry there are lots of repeat answers)
Too easy. More than two minutes remaining. Just list all the biggest exporters in the world.. and then pick off the remaining ones by looking at what's left and guessing nearby countries
When I retook the quiz today that happened to me, too. I got stuck trying to guess what the 4th biggest importer to China was and I guess because the USA is in the first column it didn't occur to me to guess. I was getting desperate by the time I was down to Tuvalu, Nauru, and Estonia, and then I gave up.
Does anyone know how import/export between Taiwan and China works considering their history and political differences? E.g. Does China really consider it import?
I don't know but I assume that even while the PRC officially doesn't recognize Taiwanese sovereignty, in practice they tacitly acknowledge this and treat imports coming in largely as they would imports from any other place. Sort of like how when I was driving from Serbia to Kosovo, even though Serbia doesn't recognize the existence of Kosovo, I was still stopped at the border by Serbin customs as if I was leaving the country, and then they stole my car for no good reason.
Yeah, that shocked me. China keeps threatening to invade Taiwan, but will it? Not only is Taiwan top, but the next four countries on the list would definitely take Taiwan's side in a potential war. If China invades--and all these countries embargo or sanction China in return--it would be a total disaster for their economy.
EDIT: And arguably China takes the top spot for China itself, but I won't get into that.
“Export to China
Sell Products To Chinese”
Is this a coincidence?
