I enjoy all these country quizzes. They are very educational. Here I got 17. Not happy with that. I`ve been to Ecuador. But another great country quiz.
Really good quiz - I'd question whether the 's' is needed for the fruit clue? I wondered whether it meant the singular form of the fruit ended in 's' (as a hint).
Ok, not getting Quecho, Quecha, Quechu is my fault, I really didn't know the exact spelling, but I would argue Sea Iguana perhaps should be accepted, especially for those translating from another language.
(and yes, for those who can't wait to make this point and probably made a macro for it, it is an English site/quiz, but this site takes type-ins)
Edit: Actually Sea Iguana is one of its official English names, as well as Saltwater Iguana both of which I tried.
Uggghhhhh I kept on guessing quinone and then tried a bunch of other variants of the word, not realizing that I would get it if I changed just one letter :P
I would change question 11 to 'most-spoken indigenous language'. The term native language is usually a synonym for a first language or mother tongue, which would be Spanish in this case.
I'm not a native speaker and I tried Sea Iguana, Ocean Iguana, Saltwater Iguana, Galapagos Iguana and Pacific Iguana and it wouldn't accept any of these...maybe that's why :D
