I don't know what the site was like back in 2016, but here in the future world of 2023, there's a revolutionary orange circle over the micronations like Singapore and Brunei.
Yeah, me too. Seems a bit hardh not to allow the abbreviated form, given that's how they are commonly known. At least a line in the intro saying only full names would be accepted.
Yep messed me up too, so since I am not a touch typist and it took me time to realise, I posted a very poor score - which if many people are doing the same would skew the stats. I'm going to argue that you didn't specify that the first two letters of the written name was what was required, actually you didn't specify that we should enter the first two letters of the common name rather than the full name. Entirely reasonable for quizzers to enter the first two letters of the name as people speak it. And for the UAE, people usually say UAE.
Excellent quiz! - Please leave Cyprus where it is as that's where it belongs. Also, the common use of abbreviations should not alter the FACT that the UAE begins with Un(ited) Arab Emirates.

By virtue of its geographical location; its closest neighbors are Asian Turkey, Syria and Lebanon, and of course Northern Cyprus is very Turkish-aligned. Continental boundaries are pretty arbitrary, they aren't subject to agreements of countries in the same way that national borders are, so there's no "right" answer to that one. You could just as easily include Cyprus in Europe by virtue of its membership of the euro, European Union, and general historic ties.
Yes, it's a good and fair answer, but what bothers me is the inconsistency, as by this logic, Trinidad and Tobago should be part of South America, yet Jetpunk groups it with North America.
Leaving the West Bank uncolored/grey really screwed me up. It's so small that I couldn't tell that it was grey and not yellow, so I thought I had missed a country in that vicinity.
yes, while it is generally considered to be politically part of Europe, only the part that contains most of its population is sometimes considered to be geographically part of Europe. The part that doesn't is usually considered to be geographically part of Asia.
I must say, I think you're one of the best quiz makers on this whole site. Hopefully this site gets huge (more so), makes a bunch of add revenue, and quiz creators get monetized, because you deserve some kind of reward for all this quality.
I like the quiz, but am red/green colorblind. Telling the colors apart isn't impossible, but it takes a lot of focus because their brightness values are so close to each other. I think that if you could make one of the colors 10-20% darker it would really help make it more playable. Thanks!

the "truly lost".
UNited Arab Emirates
Never had any desire to find out before. But, yes, apparently I can.
It's confusing.
(Probably you are talking about the countries that are harder to see or countries to answer)
