Palestine routinely appears in all of our quizzes. It is recognised by 139 countries, as well as having observer status, like Vatican City does, at the UN. (By the way, it would have full membership, except that the US would have been able to veto that proposal with its single vote).
France (and 137 others) voted for. The UK abstained. The nine countries who voted against were Canada, Czechia, Israel, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Panama and USA.
Israel and Palestine should appear together. Not only apolitical -- but it's also the reality: Two state solution is dead. Only viable solution is a one state solution. Partition is not the answer -- etc, etc.
Cool Quiz!, maybe you could update it so it can change the country your doing every time you do the quiz. Maybe it could be like the first time you take it, it is Egypt but the second time you take it, it is Denmark or something. It would definitely have my nomination if you did that.
Palestine needs to be removed because it is universally not considered a country on Jetpunk. I'm not arguing whether it is with you, it's just that nobody would guess it on here because it isn't on any other quiz on Jetpunk
I read the comments of the quiz maker in this comments section and understand why he would add Palestine (I mean most JetPunk quizzes include Kosovo and Taiwan as countries and both are actually recognised by less countries as sovereign states).
I did however also miss out on the clue. Perhaps this could be made clearer by mentioning that the quiz can also include countries that are not recognised by all sovereign states.
I understand why you include Palestine. Perhaps you could use a clue other than a link to another quiz you've done, such as "includes all states recognized by a major of UN members" or "includes nations not commonly recognized by JetPunk" or somelthing like that. I also second the suggestions for randomizing the central country. Thanks--good quiz.
