The countries of Europe have been arranged in order of their last two letters, with nations sharing the same last letter pairs listed in alphabetical order. Can you name them?
They aren't counties, but they are countries. Faroe Islands and Greenland, plus the Country of Denmark (the more famous bit where Copenhagen is), make up the 3-country Kingdom of Denmark. Some claim that because the Kingdom of Denmark is responsible for Greenland's and Faroe's defence, Greenland and the Faroes are not "independent", even though Greenland has made independent foreign policy decisions. However, having your own defence is not a requirement for nationhood - for example, the US is responsible for the defence of Marshall Islands, and New Zealand is responsible for Samoa's, and no-one disputes that those countries are countries!
Should have included Åland Islands, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Abkhazia, Transnistria, South Ossetia, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey and Gibraltar, instead of Greenland, which is in North America.
