this is a speed typing test, not a memory test! I simply cannot type half the names I can remember. It's driving me crazy. But we has secretaries who typed for us--they pulled me from taking typing--right out of class in 9th grade--and sent me to French 2. Said if a female can type, that's what she'll be forced to do, so you can't learn to type, you are going to college.
In law school, nice guys typed my papers. Took months trying to type my first resume without errors. Then secretaries and guys who were friends of mine typed them for me. I typed this with the middle finger of my left hand. My right one is numb from carpal tunnel, writing everything long hand for decades. Bleech!
Has anyone tried that Dragon stuff they advertised so much on tv--you talk, it types for you? No ads recently, unless I stopped noticing them...
If I did this right:
- you have to type 1436 characters
- you have 225 seconds
- you have to type 6.382 keys per second
- this corresponds to 382.93 keys per minute
- this corresponds to 76.5 WPM (each word is considered 5 characters long according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Words_per_minute)
