I always get hung up on the map I can't interpret and it totally undermines my ability to get more than a half dozen on these. Oh well...just have to memorize them for next time...
Please remove Pristina as Kosovo is not an independent country. Or if you want to be consistent, add Ar-Rakka (capital of ISIS - another terrorist state)
108 countries do not agree with you. Kosovo is a democracy that has free and fair elections. The idea of equating Kosovo with ISIL (international recognition zero) is absurd.
A terrorist state? Geez, give us a break. btw Pristina is a beautiful place. So is Tirana. Much nicer people than in Belgrade or Nis or Prokjulpe where corrupt policemen and judges conspired to steal my car. Kosovo hasn't yet committed any acts of genocide so they've got that going for them, too.
Incidentally I do think Islamic State HAD a reasonable claim to sovereignty (and that it was also unfair to label them a terrorist state when they did)... but that claim has somewhat deteriorated since Raqqa has been overtaken by the SDF as of a couple weeks ago.
Tel Aviv ceased to be the capital in 1949 when the capital was moved to Jerusalem in 1949. Most embassies remained in Tel Aviv due to disputes as to Jerusalem's status (which was then partitioned between Israel and Jordan). The remaining embassies in Jerusalem all moved to Tel Aviv around 1980, in response to Israel claiming to annex East Jerusalem as well in that year.
What really surprises me is that Manama is 15th on the list and Doha didn't make it. I've pictured them as being very close each other, and the fact that at least five other capitals could fit between them was unexpected.
As for me, there is only hill I am willing to die on: CYPRUS IS IN ASIA!!!
