The national flag doesn't bear the coat of arms, and is only formed by the 3 stripes (coat of arms on the flag is used by the State and other institutions and is widely spread, but that doesn't mean it's the official national), so yeah, the Peruvian national flag should be included in this quiz.

It's complicated, though I think accurate to say the current "Islamic Emirate" flag is the official one. That flag of course is only black and white. The former flag is still used, though only for some international functions (it seems unofficially) and by resistance movements. The republic which that flag represented no longer exists since the Taliban recaptured the country.

That's an interesting way of presenting this quiz. The shade of blue for Sweden is a little off though. It would be better with the blue you used for Greece.

The "outdated ones do and some of the newer ones do" But the main ones that aren't outdated have the coat of arms.

is there a logic to the order the colours appear in? might be more helpful if the one that made up a larger proportion of the flag was first, although i can see you might not want to give that extra help. but it does make me wonder how they are ordered?

I also only realised afterwards it was alphabetical, it might be useful (if you realize sooner) though I prefer some logic in the colors. Now my eyes just kept darting all over the place and my mind couldn't really focus and think about a certain color. (It is like quickly trying to spot something but effectively reading nothing). Which probably cost me more time than having it in alphabetical order could gain me (unless you only need one or something).

Ofcourse it is your quiz so it is up to you :) and your preference. just writing my experience that is was very distracting for me and slowed me down heaps. (especially since I mentally sort of thried to put them back together haha, was more busy qith looking where is red where is white, than actually thinking about flags and countries)

I think it would be easier if you gave us the flag, mate. We memorize the colors in order shown on the flag, like left - right, or up - down orders. If all of them are side by side, it makes it much harder.

I think that is actually the fun part of this quiz, that it is not just flags. It adds a nice challenge and makes you think, instead of just "spit out preprogrammed things". (Like orc orc you eat soup with a ..... Often we are so just to not thinking when we have patterns imprinted already, it is good to refresh it a bit)

Nah, this way is way better. There are already like 5,000 "here's a picture of the flag" quizzes. Using that same premises but only for two-color flags is just an arbitrary limitation. This is a really neat use of the layout and it makes your brain work a lot harder. If we were shown pictures of the actual flags, I would have blitzed through this in 30 seconds. I found the version we're given really challenging (and I didn't do all that great). Much prefer what they used.

At Step 4 - Design Quiz I chose "Manual", and created two blank columns before each answer, then at that same step, used the Edit Styles dropdown box to create the relevant colours in each of those boxes.

Where the wikipedia page for the flag specifies a colour in hexadecimal (which Jetpunk allows you to specify as a background colour in its editor) we use that, otherwise we use our best effort to colour-match.
