Yeah, seconded. It's one of those great quizes where you blank for a few minutes then get 4 or 5 in 30 seconds, but it definitely needs much more time. 30 answers in 5 mins is pretty tough, one every 10 seconds, when there are 190 odd possible answers.

Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte is the only capital of Sri Lanka and it is administered by a separate municipal council

Yes, a suburb of Colombo does not make it a separate city. Sri Jayawardene etc is part of Colombo, so Colombo is Sri Lanka's capital. It's a bit like claiming Westminster, not London, is the capital of the UK. Let the joust begin!

But it must be a city right? Well at least to claim it (as a) capital City
+1
Level 60
Aug 6, 2021
Legally, it is a separate city, but there is a continuous buid-up area, so it's not obvious where one city ends and the othet begins. But it is not that uncommon, it's like Los Angeles and Anaheim, for example.

Would it be a stretch to say that China and Beijing could be on there because People's Republic of China and the alternative Romanization of Beijing, Peking, both start with P? I get that it sounds dumb it's just something I thought of...

Maybe you could make like a "weird geographical exceptions" quiz
