Each of these pictures are composites of two images that in some way represent a specific country. Using the partial images of flags, landmarks, historical figures, and animals, identify each country.
Not every composite image is split exactly half-and-half. Poetic license. :)
If you're not sure how a certain image connects with a certain country, check my sticky comment below.
That was actually my original plan, but unfortunately, it wasn't feasible to do yellow boxes in this format. Stewart told me it would require complicated css to reorganize the display. Ain't nobody got time for that.
I was looking for connections between the pairs until I read the description properly and realised there didn't have to be one. Although I did find quite a few. France donated the Statue of Liberty to the US, Japan occupied South Korea, China and DPRK border each other, South Africa was a Dutch colony, Australia and New Zealand hate each other, Brazil has a lot of people of Italian origin, and Madagascar and Ecuador (Galapagos) have a lot of endemic species. The rest left me stumped.
The Ecuadorian clue was really ambiguous. It looked like a generic tortoise to me and I couldn't think of any relation to a specific country. Only one I missed :\
