Cool quiz! Got 10/12. Thought Portugal might be Benin, Togo, Ghana, or even Nepal on its side. The angel fish was the toughest one.

When looking close up at the thumbnail, the country shapes appear to be hand drawn with a physical marker - is this so?

That is correct. I drew it first in pencil, then inked it with a sharpie. Finally, I converted it to an svg and added the countries.

THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! Thanks for a great quiz. I only missed Algeria, I knew that fish was one of the clues, but I didn't see the country shape. At least I wasn't alone.
