Use the clues to identify world landmarks. As you enter the correct answers, a pixelated landmark will be revealed, one color at a time. Using the image that appears, identify the pixelated landmark.
That's not the Kremlin, that's St Basil's cathedral, the cathedral in red square. The Kremlin refers to the fortress next to red square, which actually contains 3 other cathedrals.
Awesome quiz! I only found the Chinese clue a bit vague, but after any possible combination of the words "Great wall of China" didn't work I thought a bit harder and got the correct answer with the very next guess.
Apparently the most visited monument is the Great Wall of China, I could be wrong here and I probably am but I just wanted to point that out... Great quiz though really enjoyed it!
You know, I would have thought the same thing, but based on several sources, around 10 million people visited the Great Wall every year (pre-pandemic). Meanwhile, the Forbidden City saw anywhere from 14-17 million people annually. Here's a link to a list on Wikipedia.
I guessed that it was the Kremlin and was surprised to see that it was accepted. As soon as St. Basil's came up, I remembered that it is NOT the same as the Kremlin. I'm curious why you chose to accept it as a correct answer.
Yes, you're right. St. Basil's is outside the wall of the Kremlin, but they are very, very close. I guess I was feeling generous the day I made the quiz.
While not many people would've guessed that the Forbidden City is the most visited monument in the world, the fact that it shows that it's in China makes it very surprising it's the least guessed one
Very easy, but refreshingly simple and nice and fun to watch it all light up in the end, although I was able to enter the final pixilated photo way before I entered all of the other answers. LOL!
Thanks!
