Randy is the son of "Cowboy" Bob Orton (Jr.) and the grandson of Bob Orton Sr.

Chavo Sr. was born in 1949 (d. 2017), Mando in 1950, Hector in 1954, and Eddie in 1967 (d. 2005). Chavo Jr., (born in 1970) who often teamed with Eddie in WCW and WWE is the son of Chavo Sr. and nephew of Eddie.

Further trivia: They are not the uncles-by-marriage of Cody's half brother Dustin (Goldust), meaning that they married sisters of Cody's mother.

Rey Sr. allowed his nephew to use the "Jr." name starting in 1991, though his nephew has since dropped the "Jr." and is simply known as Rey Mysterio in WWE. Rey Sr's actual son (born in 1988) wrestles as El Hijo Del Rey Misterio.

The Anoa'i wrestling dynasty starts with Reverend Amituana'i Anoa'i, his most famous sons are Afa and Sika, the Wild Samoans. Yokozuna (Rodney Anoa'i) and The Tonga Kid (despite the 'Tonga' in his ring name) are both grandsons of the reverend via siblings of Afa and Sika. Jacob Fatu is the Tonga Kid's son. Samoa Joe is of no relation to any of them.

Davey Boy Smith was married for several years to Bret's younger sister Diana; Neidhart was married to Bret's older sister Ellie until his death; and Pillman, while considered a family friend and member of the Hart Foundation stable, had no familial connection to the Harts. Dynamite Kid (real name Tom Billington) however, was once married to Michelle, the sister of Bret's first wife, Julie.

Chris Jericho's father is Ted Irvine, a forward who amassed 331 points between 1963 and 1977 for the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, St. Louis Blues, and the team he is most well known for having played with: the New York Rangers

Fritz's sons Kevin, David, Kerry, Mike, and Chris, who all, at one point or another, wrestled for the Von Erich family's World Class promotion and beyond. A sixth son died as a child.

Gene, Ole, and Arn were at times referenced in storylines to all be brothers , but none of the three were actually related. C.W. Anderson, most notably of ECW fame, was regarded as an Anderson cousin, again in storyline. Brock however, is the actual son of Arn Anderson.

Justin Gabriel is the son of South African wrestler/promoter Paul Lloyd; Husky Harris, better known later as Bray Wyatt is the son of Mike Rotunda (and grandson of Blackjack Mulligan); and Michael McGillicutty, later known as Curtis Axel, is the son of "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig (and grandson of Larry "The Axe" Hennig). Skip Sheffield was the name used at the time by the man who would be later known as Ryback.

Despite not using a family oriented name, Booker T and Lash "Stevie Ray" Huffman are indeed brothers. The other three teams are completely unrelated.

Though it was rarely, if ever, acknowledged when both men were in their prime on WWE TV, the two were brothers and the sons of wrestler/promoter Angelo Poffo.
